Nara Homespun Asanoha: Le Japan à Paris

$95.00
sold out

On my January trip to Paris I visited a gorgeous gem of a shop in Le Marais which specialized in Japanese fabrics and brought home several prints. The Nara Homespun Collection from Japanese fabric designer Sevenberry brings old world Japanese prints and techniques to make a gorgeous weave in different shades of Indigo. It is “Le Japon à Paris” and each of the three prints are $95 for a set of eight. They would be stunning together on a table.

This pattern name is derived from its name asa (hemp) and ha (leaf), this Japanese pattern draws inspiration from the hemp leaf's structure - resembling six-pointed stars, the design signifies growth, strength, and durability, as hemp thrives even under harsh conditions.
