I visited Liberty London in London this past September and discovered the Library Edit II Archives Collection on their fabric floor, an amazing entire floor of Liberty’s famous prints and Art Nouveau history. Taken from the bookshelves of the renowned Liberty archive, The Library Edit is a considered curation of designs that are both historical and iconic to the brand.
This beautifully nostalgic print celebrates the sweeping vistas of the British shoreline. Peaceful bays, graceful sailing ships, and winding hillside paths unfold across the design, capturing the quiet charm of seaside life. Originally painted in gouache, the artwork retains its authentic paintbrush textures, preserving every expressive mark in the final printed design. These are made in a generous 19.5”x25” size and are 100% cotton printed in Italy.
Set of eight are $160.
